Please join Grace Resource Center in taking a stand against hunger and poverty! Our “Abundance Sunday or Monday” Program is an ideal way for you, your business, club, congregation or even neighborhood, to directly make a difference in the lives of thousands here in the Antelope Valley. Proverbs 19:17 On the first Sunday (or Monday) of each month, various supplies, personal hygiene items, mittens, socks, etc. are collected. This is a wonderful program to involve children, youth groups, clubs and senior citizen programs. To participate, please contact Lynda Elmes at (661) 940-5272. A collection barrel can be delivered to your business, church or organization. 2010 Collection Calendar JANUARY Sunday, January 3 Collect toothpaste and toothbrushes FEBRUARY Sunday, February 7 Diapers - children’s and adult MARCH Sunday, March 7 Shampoo, hand lotion, chapstick & sunscreen APRIL Sunday, April 4 Children and adult socks and underwear MAY Sunday, May 2 Baby food (jars) and baby diapers JUNE Sunday, June 6 Baby formula and Ensure JULY Sunday, July 4 Bars of soap, toiletries, shampoo, razors, etc. AUGUST Sunday, August 1 Bars of soap, toiletries, shampoo, razors, etc. SEPTEMBER Sunday, September 5 Diapers – children and adult OCTOBER Sunday, October 3 Shampoo, hand lotion, soap, feminine hygiene NOVEMBER Sunday, November 7 Hats, scarves, mittens (children & adult) DECEMBER Sunday, December 5 Baby formula, baby food and baby supplies.
