Working in partnership with the Department of Children and Family Services, Grace Resource Center now supervises four locations where monitored family visits can take place in a family oriented setting. These sites are designed to meet the needs of parents who cannot afford regular monitored visits ordered by the courts.
In a healthy, non-sterile and cozy setting parents will be able to bond with their children, enjoy activities that promote healthy relationships, and move toward reunification with parent coaches attending to help them each step of the way.
Our model is parent coaching, rather than simply monitoring. We want parents to succeed and have developed a model to support them in reaching this goal. Each parent coach is carefully trained by our organization with an approved curriculum to ensure we are offering the best service available.
Grace Resource Center looks forward to serving our community parents. Volunteers from our local churches help make this possible, and we need more parent coaches every day. If you would like to volunteer to be a parent coach and help us with this amazing opportunity to touch families in need please call George Marquez, the project manager, here at Grace at 661-940-5272.
